Supporting the Troops

I heard you a few years ago when you came to Precious Blood Catholic Elementary School Parents Appreciation Night in Dayton, Ohio. I bought your first two cds.

I am currently deployed with the Army in Iraq. Your cds were two of the special cds I brought with me. I thought you might like to know that I play them on my computer in the office. Your music is soothing and doesn't distract from our work, yet the underscore of your words of wisdom and gospel are listened to and enjoyed by us all. Though you may not realilze it, you're doing your part supporting the troops here in Iraq. Thanks and keep up the beautiful music.

Anthems for the truly "alternative" lifestyle

Marie's music reminds us Dads of the essential beauty and dignity of a mother's vocation, and calls us to be the strong, loving, and holy men God intends us to be.

We have six children ages 2 to 16, and Marie's songs are anthems for the truely "alternative" lifestyle of surrender to God's will.

Honest and Concise Spiritual Direction!

I just checked back at the website and found this review section. I had not noticed it before.

What can I say? This dear lady likely does not know it, but she is a Spiritual Director for probably thousands of Catholic and non-Catholic Christian men and women.

"Lay it on down and Let it go."

"I said, I've fallen, He said, I love you. I said, Forgive me, He said, I love you. I said, as You wish."

"So have a laugh and keep the Faith and check that baggage at the Gate, cause hearts were made to Laugh and Lighten up!"

All of this is such honest and concise Spiritual Direction - and with the current lack of good Directors out there it is clear that she fills a real void.

May God's Blessing and His Peace and His Truth pierce the souls of all who enjoy and grow from this lovely music.

No Coincidence

When I was introduced to Marie's music, I was working full-time as an engineer in MN and had twin daughters (2 year old) and a husband too. It was exhausted, burned-out, and wondering about our decisions, however, we had no plans on making a change. I am now in NC, as a stay-at-home mom. I believe it is no coincidence that one of my friends introduced me to her music, and that the Lord worked through our hearts and our jobs to make the changes necessary. Thanks!

Speaks to my Heart

Thank you Marie! I am a Catholic mother of 5. You have spoken to my heart and help me to continue knowing that I am not alone.

What I Wanted To Say is one of my favorites. The first time my oldest child heard this song, he said "Mom, people say that to you everytime we go out".

Thank you, please keep up your wonderful music. God bless you and your family!
We love you,

Captures My Life Perfectly

I have five childrena nd your song "What I wanted to Say" is frequently quoted on large family internet groups. It is an amazing song. I play it for people frequently and they always cry. I bought your music orignally for that song, but every song is so beautiful and captures my life perfectly. I am Jewish and even the songs about faith inspire me too.
Beautiful voice. A pleasure to listen too.

Encouraging My Faith, Marriage and Life at Home

I bought Marie's first cd after reading about her in a Catholic periodical, and have the other two now. I love it - beautiful, touching music that encourages me in my Catholic faith, my marriage, and life at home! Some of the lyrics make me cry, and "Don't You Think I Count" had my mom in tears when I let her borrow my cd (she's getting the set for Mother's Day :)). The songs are touching, yet have a sense of humor.

I was also privileged to hear Marie and Bill's talk in Duarte this week. It's always refreshing to hear a psychologist with morals and common sense, and it was a treat to hear Marie sing in person. My husband and I look forward to hearing her at the Catholic Family Conference.

Marie's songs help me refocus!

I put on the music whenever I need to remember how lucky I am. It helps me not to squander my time with my children, because too soon they will grow up!

We have 5 children (1 to 9 yrs); the sentiments in these songs are stamped in a mother's heart, and Marie articulates those feelings. When I wory too much about the housework, these songs help me refocus on the only part of my work that will go on forever--my children's souls. Thank you!

Thank You and God Bless you and your family, Marie!

Soldier Proud to be a Daddy

I am a soldier deployed in Iraq and I just heard Marie sing "He is a Daddy" on Fox and Friends. It did a lot to remind me how much I love my three little boys back in Washington and how much I have to thank my wonderful wife Barbra for. It is difficult to be a "part-time" daddy (I have been deployed for both Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom) I want to say Thank you to Marie for giving me such a lovely reminder of why I am doing what I do and for making me so proud to be a Daddy.
